I had hoped that Utah would be a better place then what we have experienced. I do not care about most of the things. I only want to try to get the family air looms back. Hot water barely coming out of tub faucet, cold water working fine. What could cause that?

Since you say the home set empty since 2007 and the hot side of the jacuzzi is the only hot faucet you are having problems with, the problem could be when the water was turned on for the first time since 2007, there may have been some dirt or grit in the lines and the grit or dirt may have clogged up the faucet area under the knob. It doesn't take much to clog up a faucet. You might turn the water off and remove the hot water handle and check where the water comes in and make sure it isn't clogged up. Give it a good cleaning and see if that helps. If not, there may be a bad or stuck closed valve.

Will my bala shark be okay?

Hi. I have a bala shark that I've had for about 9 months. Well on Sunday I changed the decor and the gravel in my 56 gallon tank and put all of my fish into a big container. I would rinse some of the gravel and when I put it into the tank I would check the fish to make sure they were okay. When I came back to check on them(maybe 5 minutes or so) my poor bala was on the floor..I freaked out and my husband came and put him back into the water. He sat for a second then swam a bit but mostly just sat at the bottom of the container I'm sure out of shock. Within a day I noticed his eyes becoming white and hazy and his breathing had slowed down. I put melafix into the tank and added some extra salt to calm him and get his protective coating back. We got the hospital tank set up and ready for him and he's been in there swimming around like normal but now he seems to be resting. The poor guy has lost half of his back fins and he can't see which means he can't eat. I feel so bad for him he's already been through so much. He had hemmorogic septicemia and the other fish tore his fins up so bad he couldn't swim..but we fixed him right up and he had never been better. So I'm pretty upset that he has to go though this. Sorry I'm rambling on and on I just don't know what else to do for him...the water perimeters in both tanks are great and my other fish are doing fantastic. But my bala was one of my first fish. Can anyone tell me if he will be able to see again and how long it will take for his tail fins to grow back? If he will ever be able to eat again. Oh and also if there may have been brain damage..he was out of the water for probably about 5 minutes. It has a Timer on wall for it, and its a Interamatic Timer it has 2 BLACK wires going to it, one is load 1 and a line 1. but they are both black no white or grd. Nothing comes's on when u turn the Timer on. what should i look for or try to do with this problem i have ty.

Clear watery discharge at 26 weeks pregnant?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and have been noticing lots of extra vaginal discharge. Over the last week or so, its been clear and watery. It's not a huge gush, doesn't run down my leg or nothing but it feelslike a lot because sometimes I can feel it..uh...come out. It's generally odorless. Saturday I was noticing it, and when I got out of the tub I let out some clear very funny smelling liquid (also clear and watery). I couldn't place the smell. But it was so bad smelling from leaking onto my pj bottoms and undies I had to clean up and sleep in the buff (luckily I didn't leak). I figured maybe it was water from the jacuzzi tub (warm water! My husband is on dialysis and I am getting confused as to the things he can not eat.?

He went into acute renal failure on Memorial Day (35y/o) He is now getting dialysis 3 times a week. We have spoken with the nutritionist there but from the lists she gave me to the lists on the kidney site for people with dialysis they differ greatly. Just one point is nuts. on the list of do not eat it says under high potassium no nuts/peanut butter. but I went to the kidney website for a dialysis menu and the snack said mixed nuts. So I am totally confused. They also told him to eat alot of protein/meats etc but all the menu's have chicken turkey etc. They also said to stay away from wheat based foods but in the breakfast they have wheat as part of a cereal mix. I am soo confused as to who I should listen to if you have any suggestions that would be great. He has other issues besides the kidney failure he also has pericarditis (fluid around the heart) a blood clot in his leg, and high blood pressure for which is is on medicine for all of these. but there was not restrictions in eating from them. well except for the salt but that is part of the dialysis do not eat anyways.

Is the ankle muscle almost/fully recovered?

Yea like did something to the muscles around the fibula bone around 6-7 weeks ago and so I couldn't run. But I tried running today and I ran 2 laps and walking a lap on a 200m track for a grand running total of 1 mile. Then I went to go swimming for about 25 laps and went to the jacuzzi for about 10 min. I don't know if the muscle/tendon/ligament thing is still injured or nearly/fully recovered because I burned the skin above the injured part and it was a teensy weensy bit more painful, but not like excruciating, more like a playful punch to the shoulder feel to it. But now it's like the same as it was before I worked out. Does this mean that the skin was hurting and not so much the muscle thing?? I hope for good news, but I can accept bad news. I just want to start running as soon as possible. Also, would it be wise to go running on Tuesday? I would go with chicken fajitas. Slice the chicken into thin strips & saute in a bit of olive oil over med-high heat until golden & cooked through (you can cook some veggies like peppers and onions with the chicken at this point too). I would add some spices like garlic, chili powder, oregano, etc... as the chicken is cooking as well, and probably the green chilis too! As the chicken is cooking, slightly warm the tortillas. Make the fajitas by placing a scoop of the chicken mixture in the middle of a warmed tortilla, top with cheese (if desired... could also use sour cream, salsa...), and rolling it up. Bon appetit!

I would add some spices like garlic, chili powder, oregano, etc... as the chicken is cooking as well, and probably the green chilis too! As the chicken is cooking, slightly warm the tortillas. We're alike as far as what we want out of life and how we view our relationship. She's a divorcee. I've never been married. Niether of us have children of our own.
