Why I have gum infection?

I'm 14 and I think that have a gum infection(gingivitis).But it's very strange.I don't smoke cigarettes,i don't have diabetes,stress and etc I eat healthy food.What is the problem causing this ******* disease.And how to stop this infection.Can warm water with salt or betadine solve the problem?
