How to get rid of spiders inside the house?

so my mom has a jacuzzi bathtub that, for some reason, spiders love to make a home inside of the jets. have already tried filling the tub up and running the jets. filling the tub up and running the jets with some bleach poured into the water. but they keep coming back. pretty much have given up at this point, besides the occasional turning on the water to watch a spider to swirl down the drain. help?
