I got a belly button ring 6 days ago, i think its infected! HELP!?!?

I went in a salt water pool and jacuzzi last night (i know im not suppose to but i did it anyways). When i got home, i took a shower and washed it with water and soap. I woke up this morning and its sore, pink/red and over the bar its swollen and looks like a bridge. Ive always wanted one so i really don't wanna take it out or have to go to the piercer cuz hes gunna yell at me and tell me i shouldn't have gone in the water! I just put warm salt water on it for ten minutes. WHAT SHOULD I DOO!?
