Is it beneficial to rent out a condominium that is very well remodeled?

My wife and I bought this condominium about 8 years ago. Back then the price was 150,000 dollars. We also remodeled it, about 20,000 invested. We invested in things like hardwood floors, Jacuzzi, new windows, and stainless steel appliances. Many things that we never really needed. Currently the condominium is worth about 120,000. This place is too small for us because we want to start having kids. Is it worth renting such a nice renovated place or should I sell it even if it’s for 110,000? I’m afraid that if we rent it everything that was remodeled may get ruined or destroyed. We would like to purchase a home for around 200,000.
